We are Janine and Georg from Cooking is a journey and we are passionate about travelling and cooking.

During our travels in Southeast Asia we enjoyed cooking with the locals on site, had the recipes written down and tried to recook them as authentically as possible at home.

 

At some point, we spontaneously decided to record the results in our blog cookingisajourney. Meanwhile, we have also created our first photo travel cookbook called A Culinary Journey through Southeast Asia. It contains interesting information about short travel stories, colorful photos and of course lots of recipes from 8 different countries of Southeast Asia.
